Job summary

StructureCare is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to survey and evaluate existing parking structures, prepare inspection reports, and communicate results to clients and colleagues. The role includes technical sales support to strengthen client relationships and help secure new work.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with project teams, and stay current with codes and industry practices while regularly traveling within the Carolinas region.

Qualifications

• Surveys and evaluates existing structures for maintenance and repair needs.
• Communicates assessments and follow up plans with business development colleagues and clients.
• Provides technical sales support to enhance customer relationships and assist with new business.

Responsibilities

• Survey and evaluate existing structures; prepare inspection reports.
• Communicate assessment results and follow-up plans with colleagues and clients.
• Engineer structural repairs within assigned territory.
• Review calculations and construction documents; consult senior staff as needed.
• Research building codes and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to project personnel and subcontractors.
• Attend seminars and training to stay current.
• Assist in training and mentoring engineers.
