Job summary

Tetra Tech Rooney seeks a Structural Engineer to support pipeline, compressor stations, pump stations, meter facilities and other energy projects nationwide from Englewood, CO, Billings, MT, or Casper, WY. Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in ABET‑accredited Civil Engineering, 5–10 years of relevant structural experience, and a PE license.

NCEES SE qualifications are desirable. A pre‑employment drug screen and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in ABET accredited Civil Engineering program with minimum 5-10 years of relevant structural engineering experience. NCEES record preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• NCEES Professional Engineer SE qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge in the Midstream Oil & Gas industry, specifically crude oil, refined products, CO2, NGL, wet and natural gas is preferred, but not required
• Understand civil/structural engineering design, analysis and development of scope of work documents.
• Ability to apply civil/structural engineering knowledge and techniques for industrial capital projects.
• A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• This position provides engineering support for pipeline, compressor station, pump stations, meter facilities, other Tetra Tech units doing power stations, data centers, and terminal/tank projects nationwide.
• A successful candidate will bring design engineering and technical expertise to a team of established consultants with a proven track record in the Energy Industry.
