Job summary

Tetra Tech Rooney, a Tetra Tech Inc. business unit serving the midstream oil and gas industry, is seeking a Structural Engineer for offices in Englewood, CO; Billings, MT; or Casper, WY.

The role provides design engineering and technical support to a team of consultants on energy projects nationwide, with opportunities to apply civil/structural knowledge to pipelines, compressor stations, and terminals.

Qualifications

• B.S. in ABET accredited Civil Engineering program with minimum 5-10 years of relevant structural engineering experience. NCEES record preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• NCEES Professional Engineer SE qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge in the Midstream Oil & Gas industry, specifically crude oil, refined products, CO2, NGL, wet and natural gas is preferred, but not required.
• Understand civil/structural engineering design, analysis and development of scope of work documents.
• Ability to apply civil/structural engineering knowledge and techniques for industrial capital projects.
• A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• This position provides engineering support for pipeline, compressor stations, pump stations, meter facilities, other Tetra Tech units doing power stations, data centers, and terminal/tank projects nationwide.
• A successful candidate will bring design engineering and technical expertise to a team of established consultants with a proven track record in the Energy Industry.
