Job summary

TechnipFMC in Houston seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to perform the design and analysis of temporary lifting and securing aids, plus permanent subsea structures and deck strength verification. You will ensure compliance with TFMC QHSES standards across studies, FEEDs and project execution.

The role requires up to date knowledge of onshore/offshore design codes, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to plan mobilizations and adapt on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural engineering within offshore/onshore projects.
• Ability to engage with internal/external stakeholders and contractors.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and change management processes.
• Familiarity with project planning, design codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of temporary steel structures for lifting, handling and securing aids.
• Design and analysis of permanent subsea structures, deck strength verification and sea fastening arrangements.
• Attend mobilizations and ensure on-site adaptations comply with design codes and rules.
• Participate in planning and follow-up of onshore/offshore operations.
