Job summary

MissionHires is looking for a Structural Engineer based in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will provide technical expertise for both remedial projects and new civil/structural projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and integrity.

Your responsibilities include performing structural analysis, site inspections, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, a PE license, and experience in design and field work.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of civil/structural engineering experience.
• Prior managerial experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of geotechnical principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for foundations and load-bearing elements.
• Conduct site inspections to verify conformance with design specifications.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and design calculations.

Skills

Proficiency with structural analysis software

Strong knowledge of IBC, AISC, ACI

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
