KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Nashville office. You will lead a diverse portfolio of structural projects from concept through construction, building strong client relationships and collaborating across teams.

The role emphasizes mentorship, technical leadership, and growth within a nationally recognized, employee-owned firm. Opportunities to influence projects locally and nationwide abound.

Qualifications

• PE license is required.
• Bachelor’s in Civil or Architectural Engineering; Masters preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience with leadership of complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of structural projects from concept through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and team resources.
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor for engineers and BIM professionals.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Oversee engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Participate in structural assessments, feasibility studies, and site investigations as needed.
• Foster a collaborative, mentorship-driven culture focused on technical excellence and growth.
