Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, Mathcad, RISA.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and diagrams; create detailed drawings and specs.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; knowledge of health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to prioritize time and workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural plans, designs, and detailed drawings for construction personnel while ensuring compliance with local building codes.
• Oversee construction and creation of structures and frames, making adjustments for safety and integrity.
• Inspect and analyze existing buildings for safety and viability of restoration or demolition as needed.
• Collaborate on specialized structural details like beam bracing, outriggers, and geotechnical compliance.
• Plan and oversee layout of joints, slabs, elevations, and elevator machine room areas.
• Ensure all work aligns with health and safety guidelines and contribute to technical specifications and structural calculations.
