H.F. Lenz Engineering is seeking a licensed Senior Structural Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join the Structural team. The role focuses on executing design, coordination and documentation tasks for commercial buildings, with site surveys as needed.

The position is on-site at multiple offices (Johnstown, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Conneaut, OH; Lancaster, PA) and requires leadership in design, analysis, and coordination to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural design experience.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit; RAM and STAAD.
• Willingness to travel regionally, including overnight travel.
• Fully authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• PE or SE license required.
• FE/EIT certification may be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process and manage projects.
• Use Revit and other software for design of structures.
• Perform calculations and analyses with structural software.
• Survey existing conditions and document findings.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and attend meetings.
• Review submittals and RFIs with engineers and designers.
• Conduct site visits and write reports.
• Ensure design and production meet schedules.
• Collaborate with other project engineers on larger tasks.
