Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration highly preferred.
• Structural coursework is required for structural engineering positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex civil/structural engineering design.
• Check calculations made by other engineers.
• Consult with design leaders to ensure project completion.

Skills

Knowledge of the International Building Code

Expertise with civil/structural analysis software

Ability to lead teams

Working knowledge of CAD software

Good communication skills

Education

Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering
