Job summary

Miyamoto International in Las Vegas is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to join our growing structural engineering practice. You will work with senior engineers in California and Reno and mentor from day one, gaining hands-on project management, client interaction, and coordination with architects and contractors.

This ground-floor opportunity offers growth leadership as we build a permanent Las Vegas team and expand our regional portfolio across a range of seismic and structural projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Civil engineering with a structural focus; master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of structural and earthquake engineering design experience.
• PE license required; SE preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior structural engineers in CA and Reno; contribute to project work from day one.
• Engage in client management and business development activities.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate leadership in growing the Las Vegas practice and mentoring junior staff.
