Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead multiple heavy industrial projects including bridges, plant upgrades, and site improvements. You will oversee design, analysis, and permitting from concept through construction, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience, including heavy industrial projects.
• PE license in California.
• Proficiency in engineering software (spreadsheets, word processing, AutoCAD, structural analysis/design tools).
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to perform all phases of structural engineering tasks (investigation, inspection, modeling, analysis, design).
• Experience with building permits and knowledge of construction methods and materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis of bridges, industrial facilities, and site improvements with code compliance.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports for new and retrofit projects.
• Oversee permitting, contractor coordination, and bid evaluations.
• Conduct site visits for inspections and construction support.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, contractors, and regulators.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables; report progress to management and clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff; maintain organized documentation.
