Job summary

Krech Ojard & Associates in Duluth, MN seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee complex structures.

You will lead projects from concept through construction, mentor Engineers-in-Training, and ensure documentation meets client deadlines. The role requires a PE, 5+ years in structural engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Robot, and related tools.

Travel up to 25% and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer License (PE).
• 5+ years of post-graduate structural engineering experience.
• Knowledge of advanced structural engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Robot Structural Analysis, RISA, Bluebeam, Navisworks or similar.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Strong communication and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and design of structural systems and components.
• Develop and review plans, calculations, and specifications of structural systems.
• Direct Engineers-in-Training and technicians in the preparations of proper documentation.
• Site observations and inspection of construction projects.
• Prepare reports and oral presentations for both internal and client use.
• Maintain budget and deadlines to client satisfaction.
• Work within multi-disciplinary terms in varying roles.
