Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer in Cincinnati, OH for a hybrid, salaried role with eligibility for overtime.

The engineer will work with a multidisciplinary team to design foundations, structures for equipment and buildings, and to develop 3D models and drawings for industrial projects. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of structural experience, an ABET-accredited BS in civil engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, RAM, and RISA.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis preferred).
• EIT required; PE preferred.
• 10+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer or equivalent.
• Structural drafting knowledge using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Experience with design software such as RISA or RAM Structural Systems.
• Experience with 3D modeling software such as Revit.
• Travel ability and willingness to travel for projects.
• Ability to self-manage assignments across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs for foundations, structures for equipment supports, pipe supports, and building structures.
• Direct other engineers and designers if registered as a professional engineer.
• Learn and apply engineering design software for structural analysis and 3D modeling.
• Develop engineering contracts documents, including 3D models, drawings, and specifications.
• Gather field data, including hand measurements, surveying, and 3D scanning.
• Collaborate with team to propose solutions and meet project goals.
• Prepare project correspondence as required.
• Maintain positive client relationships on projects.
