Job summary
Kleinschmidt is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to manage project teams, client relationships, and technical design for hydroelectric, fisheries, and water resources projects. Hybrid work arrangement offered across multiple offices (Essex CT, Falmouth ME, Pittsfield ME).
You are a licensed Professional Engineer with a BS in Civil Engineering and 10+ years of structural experience, including concrete and steel in water-related settings; familiarity with codes and multidisciplinary
Qualifications
- A licensed Professional Engineer with a BS in Civil Engineering and 10+ years of structural experience.
- Experience with hydroelectric design projects and fisheries or water resources is a plus.
- Specialty experience such as seismic design or finite element modeling is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Manage project teams that include junior and senior staff, drafters, and coordinators.
- Perform technical design for hydroelectric, fisheries, and water resources projects.
- Coordinate with hydrology/hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical engineers.
- Provide client coordination and technical leadership across multiple disciplines.
