Middough Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Greenville, SC. The role involves data collection, performing detailed structural calculations, and preparing designs for senior review.

The candidate will potentially lead single-discipline projects, estimate hours, develop scopes, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure timely, on-budget deliverables. Ideal candidates will have a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 5–10+ years of industrial experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• 5–10+ years of experience in structural design for refinery, chemical or heavy industrial facilities.
• Desire for Structural Engineer license preferred.
• Desire for EIT Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD; able to model and learn REVIT & BIM integration.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare data and perform detailed engineering calculations.
• May serve as Project Lead for select single-discipline projects: estimate work hours, develop scope of work, staffing, and check drawings.
• Assist with field work, checking installations, and problem-solving.
• Interact with internal departments, project teams and external suppliers to obtain project information.
• Manage project scope, changes, deliverables, budget and schedule.
• Deliver project solutions and present information to internal and external clients.
