Arcadis is seeking a Staff Structural Engineer with at least 6 years of experience in Portland, Maine. This hybrid role involves leading technical efforts and mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 6 or more years of relevant structural engineering project experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License or Senior EIT candidate preparing to sit for the PE exam in the next 6 months.
• Strong problem-solving skills with critical thinking and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead key project components and mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to innovative, high-quality design solutions across various sectors.
• Perform Construction Administration duties, including completing field observation reports.

Skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent working knowledge of USA National codes

Strong technical software skills (RISA, ETABS, BIM tools, Revit, AutoCAD)

Effective communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
