Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Structural Engineer for a hybrid role in New Orleans. The position requires 6+ years of experience and offers opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities include leading project components, mentoring, and developing design solutions for diverse sectors.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, ideally with a PE License or EIT preparing for the PE exam. The salary range for this role is between $85,000 and $125,000.

Qualifications

• 6 or more years of relevant structural engineering project experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License or Senior EIT candidate looking to write their PE exam in the next 6 months.
• Strong problem-solving skills with critical thinking and initiative.
• Excellent knowledge of USA National codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead key project components and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop calculations, plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
• Perform Construction Administration duties including site observation reports.
