Job summary

Anduril Industries seeksStructures Engineers to design and analyze robust primary and secondary structures for complex mechanical systems. You will perform FEA, select materials, and qualify manufacturing processes to meet stringent defense requirements.

Role requires 3+ years in structural design, CAD with GD&T, and the ability to validate through rigorous testing. Travel may be required; Top Secret clearance eligibility is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required with 3+ years in structural design/analysis.
• Proficiency in FEA methods and interpreting results to guide design decisions.
• Hands-on CAD experience with GD&T and detailed part/assembly design.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization, design, and detailed engineering of complex primary and secondary structures.
• Perform FEA for static, dynamic, thermal, fatigue, and vibration loads; validate design integrity.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes to meet structural requirements and production needs.
• Prototype, test, and analyze structural qualifications including shock, vibration, and environmental tests.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, and Manufacturing teams for integrated solutions.
