Job summary

SNIPEBRIDGE is seeking a Structural Engineer to support new construction, expansion, and equipment‑intensive facility projects. You will perform design for steel, concrete, foundations, and equipment-support systems and coordinate with architects, MEP teams, and contractors.

The role requires 5+ years of structural design experience, proficiency with RAM/ETABS/SAP2000/RISA, and IBC/ASCE7 knowledge. Revit BIM coordination and licensure are preferred. Long‑term compliance and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; master's preferred for advanced work.
5+ years of structural design experience for buildings or industrial facilities.
Proficiency with RAM, ETABS, SAP2000, RISA or similar tools.
Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC and applicable material standards.
Experience with Revit and interdisciplinary BIM coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, foundations, and equipment-support systems.
Develop calculations, specifications, design narratives, details, and construction documents.
Evaluate gravity, wind, seismic, vibration, and equipment-loading requirements.
Coordinate structure with architectural layouts, MEP distribution, rooftop equipment, and construction sequencing.
Support site due diligence, existing-condition assessments, and retrofit or expansion studies.
Review shop drawings and delegated-design submittals, respond to RFIs, and perform site observations.
Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, fabricators, contractors, and equipment vendors.
Contribute to quality-control reviews and continuous improvement of design standards.
