Job summary

STV Incorporated seeks a Senior Structural Engineer (Buildings) for our Boston, MA office. You will design a variety of structures including buildings and transit-related projects, review plans for conformance, and produce construction submittals.

A path toward technical leadership or project management awaits the right candidate. Responsibilities include preparing calculations, developing drawings in Revit/AutoCAD, and producing design reports while collaborating with a team of engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum of 7 years of structural engineer design experience.
• PE license required.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation and familiarity with structural analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations for buildings and other structures.
• Develop drawings for buildings and other structures using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Produce design-related reports and review shop drawings and submittals.
