Olsson's Facilities Engineering and Design Team is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee high-level project design within the structural group. You will guide complex assignments from concept through completion, ensuring robust technical solutions and client satisfaction.

The role requires 12-20+ years in structural engineering, a registered professional engineer, and a proven ability to mentor staff, manage resources, and collaborate with project managers to deliver on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• 12-20+ years of related Structural Engineering experience.
• Professional engineering licensure; at least four years supervising technical personnel.
• Proven track record in meeting client expectations through technical design work.
• Excellent client service orientation.
• Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills; ability to generate innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale project design as technical lead from design to project completion.
• Perform high-level analysis and review project documents for standards compliance.
• Oversee engineering processes to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Develop and implement standards and guidelines for engineering activities.
• Mentor and elevate technical expertise within the team.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
