Kleinfelder is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer in the Des Moines area to join a multidisciplinary team delivering bridge, building, and treatment-plant projects. You will collaborate with professionals across disciplines and support clients with high-quality solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of structural experience and an Iowa PE license or eligibility within 12 months; West Des Moines is preferred, with Bolingbrook or Kansas City considered for strong candidates.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering.
• Iowa PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Aufgaben

• Structural design and detailing for bridge, building and/or treatment plant structures
• Work with teams participating in planning, design and construction of structural projects, with future opportunities to lead project teams
• Client contact including verbal and written communication
• Ability to complete projects on time and within budget
• Periodic on-site construction observation
