Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer IV for employment in Greenville, South Carolina. This role supports transformational projects including DB projects and proposals, and offers the opportunity to work on transportation structures in a dynamic team.

The position requires a BA/BS in Civil/Structural Engineering with six years of related experience and a PE license. Preferred qualifications include an MS degree and extensive bridge design experience across TN/AL/NC/SC

Qualifications

BA/BS plus six years of related experience or equivalent.
PE License is required.
Preferred: MS in Civil/Structural Engineering.
10+ years of bridge design and plan development experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team.
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Prepares technical specification sections.
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
