RH2 Engineering, a respected WA-based firm with multiple offices, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the structural group across Bothell, Bellevue, Tacoma or East Wenatchee. You will drive project work, mentor staff, coordinate design across wood, masonry, steel and concrete systems, and ensure technical excellence for municipal and public-sector projects.

The role requires a PE and SE license in WA or OR or willingness to obtain, with 15–25 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university with emphasis in structural engineering.
• 15–25 years of transferrable skills and experience, preferably in public sector consulting and structural engineering.
• Exposure to multiple disciplines including general civil, structural, and mechanical engineering is a plus.
• Experience managing municipal and public-sector projects (federal, state, city and county).
• Ability to form and enhance business relationships and make connections within the industry.
• Ability to present information, ideas and concepts to mid-sized audiences.
• Ability to manage projects from design through construction providing exceptional services.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare project proposals and budgets.
• Ability to solve complex problems requiring new adaptation of engineering techniques.

RH2 Engineering is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Engineering team in our Bothell / Bellevue / Tacoma / or East Wenatchee, WA location. About the Job

This Senior Structural Engineer will be lead the RH2 Structural Engineering group with full responsibility for the group workload, staff development, and technical excellence. The Senior Structural Engineer will work with clients on projects involving structural designs including foundations, steel, timber, masonry, concrete and prestressed concrete structures from conceptualization, analysis, and design through construction.

Compensation counts:

RH2 has an excellent multi-component compensation package built to recognize and financially reward our employees’ contributions throughout their career with the company. Individual base compensation will vary within the range of $70.00-$105.00/hour and will be based on skills, qualifications, and experience as they relate to the requirements for this position. RH2 values our employees’ work/life balance and compensates for overtime at 1.5 times the base rate for hours exceeding 40 regular hours in a work week. This position is eligible for RH2’s performance bonus, which is equivalent to one month’s pay. Time in position, and individual and company performance requirements apply.
