Project Overview:
Craig Technologies is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Craig Technologies & Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Craig Technologies’s scope of service in Sentinel’s current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program.

A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Craig Technologies has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile-defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. Job Summary:
In this role, you will conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a project’s civil/structural aspects. You will lead design, development, modification, evaluation, and constructability reviews of civil/structural components and processes. Your technical expertise will ensure the unique and complex requirements of a project’s civil/structural aspects are met. #LI-SF1

Major Responsibilities:
Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the civil/structural engineering work for a global business unit, a project or staff group to include the preparation of original designs layouts, details, drawings and specifications for structures, building, roadways, railroads, etc.
Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates Civil/Structural components andprocesses utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), designstandards and guides, Craig Technologies Standard Application Programs (BSAPs) and Design Control Check List (DCCL) and Design Review Notices(DRNs)
Designs structures using advanced knowledge of structural analysis, including statics, dynamics, and materials engineering
Determines the appropriate use of various structural elements such as steel, wood, masonry, and concrete to ensure appropriate material is used based on load or stress requirements
Originates and checks complex structural engineering deliverables, such as steel and concrete calculations, specifications, and material requisitions
Analyzes problems with conflicting design requirements, sketches ideas and possible solutions
Analyzes and reports on the suitability of unconventional materials, techniques and/or difficult coordination requirements
Plans, coordinates, or prepares equipment, work and material specifications, bid evaluations and award recommendations
Prepares procurement and subcontract requisition documents and performs associated technical bid evaluations with award recommendations
Provides assistance toproject and construction management inidentifying and complying with project Civil/Structural requirements and inaddressing issues as they arise during project execution

Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline
Seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization, resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways

The salary range for this role is $92,000 – $150,000; however, Craig Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
