HDR is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience currently working in the field to join our diverse and talented team of professionals in the Denver area.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience in field and design to construction.
• Ability to lead multi-discipline teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong client-facing and business development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce design drawings, calculations, specifications, and staff training materials.
• Lead structural design across healthcare, higher education, aerospace, hospitality, and commercial facilities.
• Coordinate with BIM designers and other disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor staff and serve as Engineer-of-Record on selected projects.
• Support marketing and project planning and represent HDR to the local industry.

HDR is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience currently working in the field to join our diverse and talented team of professionals in the Denver area. The Job:

In this position, you will be responsible for the production of design drawings, calculations, specifications, and staff training development. This dynamic individual will be engaged with both internal and external clients focused on the design and delivery of healthcare, higher education, aerospace, aviation, hospitality/hotels, commercial real estate, and mission-critical facilities. Other responsibilities include participating in marketing and project planning and serving as a representative of HDR to the local industry.

You must be an accomplished Structural Engineer who can use your accumulated expertise to impact the full project lifecycle from pursuit through final project completion. You must be a conceptual and strategic thinker who can engage and challenge our architectural and engineering designers during the early stages of projects to inform the conceptual design. You will leverage our integrated practice and your own deep expertise to add value to our project delivery process and lead engineering teams to deliver well-coordinated, high-quality designs.

You will work in integrated, multi-discipline design teams comprised of structural, electrical, mechanical, civil, environmental, and fire/life safety engineers; architects; and professionals and scientists from many other diverse disciplines from the inception of projects through the completion of construction. • Provide significant project structural engineering leadership in your areas of practice and market expertise.
• Play a material role in business development efforts and growing HDR's market share in specific A/E markets using your expertise and professional network.
• Demonstrate exceptional technical leadership on complex projects.
• Take roles as Project Manager, Structural Engineer and/or Engineer-of-Record on selected projects.
• Serve as technical leaderon multipleprojects involving complex technical challenges.
• Independentlycoordinate the workof the structural design teams through the full project lifecycle.
• Prepare specifications and productionofdrawings(in collaboration withBIMdesigners)forconstruction documents.
• ConductQCandtechnical reviewsandprovideguidanceonactiveprojects.
