Project Structural Engineer
*Salary commensurate with experience
e2 engineers seeks a Senior Structural Engineer in our New London, CT or Concord, MA locations. The Senior Structural Engineer will manage a mixture of small, medium, and large-scale projects, performing analysis and design on an individual basis or with the support of Project Engineers and Revit Specialists, as needed. Typical duties will include analysis and design of traditional and progressive structural systems, preparation of reports and construction documents, site visits, construction administration, and management and coaching of team members. Senior Structural Engineers will also be responsible for writing and editing technical specifications and managing client relationships. Travel along the eastern seaboard and the central United States may be required.
Our team members work in hybrid in-person/remote arrangements. e2 will consider fully remote work arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree from an ABET-accredited university in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Structural Engineering, preferably in a Consulting environment.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer (S.E.) licensure in the United States.
- Proficiency with structural software, including the RISA3D, ETabs, Tedds, Bluebeam, and other specialty software, and fluency working in Revit (BIM software).
- Experience with post-tensioned concrete is a plus.

- Ability and willingness to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Ability and willingness to coordinate and/or correspond with clients to complete a project.
