Job summary

Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering is expanding and seeking Mid to Senior level Structural Designers to support industrial and water projects. You will develop REVIT models for foundations and steel structures, collaborate with engineers, and contribute to BIM coordination using ACC.

The position offers relocation assistance to Lone Tree, CO, Lenexa, KS, or Bloomington, MN, with flexible work options and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

5+ years of structural design experience in steel and concrete structures, using REVIT (preferred) or similar tool.
2+ years professional experience in Navisworks and Autodesk documents.
Experience with designing foundations, platforms, pipe racks, tanks and related industrial structures.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex BIM/(ACC) projects.
Able to communicate effectively with team members and disciplines, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Performs 3D designs of concrete, structural steel, modular steel, precast elements, rebars, foundations, pipe racks, tanks, platforms, buildings, connections, stairs, and other structures using REVIT and Navisworks for clash detection.
Coordinate with design group members and use BIM/ACC to create plans, sections, details and reports.
Develops and manages project information and ensures compliance with development standards and policies.
Maintain project design documentation through all phases of design and construction.
Coordinate and communicate project details to the construction team via integrated design processes.
Mentor team members in design and modeling techniques.
