Job summary

Holtec in the United States is seeking a Senior Civil Structural Designer to design metallic, concrete, and modular SSCs for the SMR-300 program, supporting engineering and licensing worldwide. You will develop 3D models and GA drawings, coordinate with engineers, and ensure constructability through shop fabrication and site automation.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, collaboration with fabrication partners, and applying US and international codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma in civil/structural/mechanical engineering.
• 5 years of 3D modeling and 2D drawing using AutoCAD or Tekla.
• Proficiency in Revit for concrete detailing and Tekla for steel detailing.
• Experience with GA drawings and connection details for SSCs.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, fabricators, and constructors.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for civil, structural, and architectural SSCs.
• Prepare GA, fabrication and erection drawings and connection details for steel, concrete, and composite structures.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit and other tools to produce accurate models and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers to integrate design requirements into layouts and structures.
• Support modular steel-concrete structural systems to enable accelerated construction.
