Job summary

Sabert Corporation seeks an experienced Structural Design lead to own select new product development initiatives from concept through CAD modeling and hand-off to manufacturing. You will prototype samples and drive design-for-use, cost reduction, and quality improvements using Artios and SolidWorks in a fast-paced packaging environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Industrial/Product Design with 8+ years in product design in paperboard/corrugated packaging, plus proficiency in Adobe Suite

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Product Design is required.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• 8+ years in Product Design with Paperboard & Corrugated Packaging experience.
• 3+ years with Adobe Suite; SolidWorks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept to production release.
• Develop DOE studies and frame research insights (benchmarking, feature analysis).
• Coordinate design schedules across teams and vendors; manage prototyping efforts.
• Create CAD manufacturing layouts and source components; ensure quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory standards for new products.
• Coordinate and facilitate tooling and manufacturing capability studies.
• Mentor and onboard new team members on Structural Design practices.
