Kiewit Power Engineering Group is seeking a Senior structural designer, in this role youshould have a good understanding of design modeling, design drawing/document creation, and data exchange using Building Information Modeling (BIM). Candidates are expected to have experience in foundation and steel design.
The ideal candidates will grow with the team by helping to establish, maintain, and improve standards and tools while contributing to project success. Candidates are expected to be a technical resource for less experienced designers and engineers. Candidates must be comfortable working closely with Structural Design Engineers and other discipline team members to drive coordination and collaboration.
Kiewit Power Engineers delivers expertise across various power generation markets, including fossil fuels, renewables, energy storage, carbon management, geothermal, and hydrogen. Our staff partners with construction teams to deliver safe, cost-effective, and innovative solutions that meet client expectations and further Kiewit's legacy of excellence.
This position can be based in any of the following office locations: Lenexa, KS; Houston, TX; Raleigh, NC; or Phoenix/Tempe, AZ.
For roles in Chattanooga, TN; Detroit, MI; or Richmond, VA, the position will start remotely and transition to a hybrid/in office arrangement once the new office is established.
