Job summary

Integral Engineering Group is seeking a Senior Structural Designer to develop structural systems for complex industrial and government projects in Knoxville, TN. The role requires high-quality 3D modeling in Revit, drafting in AutoCAD, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in regulated environments (nuclear/DoD/DOE) and familiarity with Autodesk Vault, ReCap, and Navisworks Manage for model management and reviews.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Structural Design, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 6–20 years of structural design/drafting experience in industrial, nuclear, DoD, or DOE environments.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for structural design.
• Familiarity with Navisworks Manage for 3D model coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed structural drawings for industrial and government facilities.
• Produce 3D structural models in Revit and 2D drawings in AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, civil, process teams to resolve conflicts.
• Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Support site visits, field surveys, and as-built or retrofit modeling.
• Assist structural engineers with design development, calculations, and documentation.
