ZAP Engineering in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Senior Structural Designer to perform hands-on design of foundations, towers, building structures, pipe racks, platforms for heavy industrial facilities. You will collaborate with a structural engineer, prepare 3D models using AutoCAD and Advanced Steel, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure a complete model.

This role requires 7+ years of industrial design experience and an Associate’s Degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industrial design experience using AutoDesk products.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to adapt to changing projects.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Advanced Steel for 3D modeling.

Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling: Create structural models using AutoCAD and Advanced Steel.
• Construction Drawings: Prepare final drawings reflecting the engineered design and update per comments.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to ensure an accurate, complete model.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
