Job summary

NEDCON USA LLC seeks a Structural Design Engineer to design steel storage structures and ASRS systems for North America. You will model, analyze, and optimize structures to meet NA codes, collaborating with sales, project teams, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires experience with FEA, steel rack systems, and a strong ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders, inspectors, and clients. Training and travel to the Netherlands may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Working knowledge of US and Canadian codes and standards (RMI, IBC, NBCC).
• Commitment to continuing education and growth.

Responsibilities

• Design steel storage structures and perform static, dynamic, seismic, and operational load analyses.
• Prepare structural calculations and documents for third-party review and approval; coordinate with reviewers.
• Support quotation activities, attend site visits, and communicate design decisions to customers and authorities.
