Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Sunnyvale is seeking a Design Analysis Engineer to bring new product designs through to manufacturing. You will perform analysis of complex electronic assemblies using advanced simulation and testing techniques, including Abaqus, Python, and Matlab.

You will collaborate with Industrial Design, Hardware Engineering, and Operations to resolve thermal issues and optimize enclosure structures.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or related field required.
• Experience in investigating, prototyping, and delivering new system solutions.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and testing of complex electronic assemblies using advanced simulation and experimentation tools.
• Develop, analyze and test thermal, acoustic and structural solutions from concept to validation.
• Use Abaqus for analysis and design of products and validate designs with simulations and prototypes.
• Collaborate with Industrial Design, Hardware Engineering, and Operations to meet performance goals.
• Create and present analytical and experimental results and develop design guidelines.
