Amazon Lab126 is seeking a Senior Design Analysis Engineer to drive analysis and testing of complex electronic assemblies. You will work with cross‑functional teams to push designs from concept through manufacturing, applying thermal, acoustic, and structural analyses and real‑world validation.

The role emphasizes simulation, Python/Matlab scripting, and data‑driven decisions to optimize enclosures and materials for performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• PhD, or Master's degree and 5+ years of applied research experience
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
• Experience in design analysis and testing of complex electronic assemblies using advanced simulation and experimentation tools and techniques

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and testing of complex electronic assemblies using advanced simulation and experimentation tools and techniques
• Develop, analyze and test thermal, acoustic and structural solutions from concept design to system validation
• Use simulation tools like Abaqus for analysis and design of products
• Validate design modifications using simulation and actual prototypes
