RK&K in Pennsylvania seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead the Structures group in King of Prussia and oversee transportation-related bridge design across the Philadelphia region. You will drive project delivery, QA/QC, and client coordination with PennDOT and sub-consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 15+ years of bridge design experience required.
• Excellent communication skills including proposal development.
• P.E. license in Pennsylvania required.
• Experience with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and engineering group in southeast Pennsylvania with development and delivery of structural assignments.
• Participate in business development to secure future clients and workload.
• Provide senior-level structural expertise on all project aspects from conceptual to contract documents and construction administration.
• Manage projects/programs and contracts related to structures.
• Facilitate internal and client meetings and approvals of plans.
• Direct project staff and sub-consultants; liaise between client and firm.
• Perform QA/QC for design accuracy and completeness.
• Provide engineering judgment and initiative in Structural Engineering.
• Hire, train, and mentor entry- and junior-level structural engineers.
