The University of Minnesota’s Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biophysics department seeks a skilled scientist to lead structural biophysics and antibody engineering projects in a shared resource setting.

You will develop engineered antibody-cytokine fusion proteins, perform SPR/BLI/ELISA analyses, manage operations, and mentor junior staff while contributing to grant proposals and high-impact publications.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in chemistry or biochemistry with at least one year of experience.
• Experience with recombinant protein expression and validation.
• Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilités

• 35% Structural biophysics and mechanistic studies on current and future projects.
• 35% Operations management of the Masonic Cancer Center Antibody Engineering Shared Resource.
• 10% Publication and presentation of data.
• 10% Training and mentoring lab members.
