Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials
• 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination
• Advanced knowledge of aircraft structure, materials strength and properties, design and manufacturing requirements, loading conditions and processes
• Experience with setting criteria for certification, testing and allowable development, loads and analysis, and creating innovative solutions
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship for program access

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Structures Engineers developing test plans and configurations in support of structural testing
• Support test execution and analyze test results to validate and verify structure meets requirements
• Coordinate with internal/external customers and other stakeholders and ensure alignment with ASIP and other requirements
• Mentor and provide technical support as required
• Work independently with minimal oversight
