Qualifications
5+ years' related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Fracture Mechanics and Damage Tolerance.
Experience in strength analysis including stress calculations.
Responsibilities
Strength analysis including interpretation of vehicle loads and environments.
Documentation of stress reports to ensure structural integrity.
Coordination with other engineering groups for product's environment.
Skills
Experience with Aerospace Structural hardware and Finite Element Method (FEM)
Strength reporting writing skills
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) including NASTRAN
Some experience with launch vehicle structures
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
