Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Struct & Payload Design Engineer to join a fast-paced organization. You will design and build aircraft interiors, such as stow bins and crew areas, focusing on structural and mechanical aspects across the product lifecycle.

You will interface with project engineering, production, program teams, and management to implement engineering solutions, support certification, supplier engagement, and production system fabrication while

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Structural/Mechanical/Aerospace/Civil engineering required.
• 5+ years in engineering including design, integration or certification.
• Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• Experience with a demanding production system.
• Experience with FAA Title 14 Part 25 or EASA.
• Experience in aerospace interiors, materials and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and modify structural/interior payload designs using 3-D CAD.
• Provide product definition to engineering, production, suppliers, and customers.
• Analyze and test results to verify systems meet requirements.
• Manage supplier development, testing, and production activities.
• Develop new design and analysis processes to improve efficiency.
• Investigate emerging technologies for future designs.
• Provide engineering support and project leadership within a production system.
• Ensure regulatory compliance is demonstrated.
