Job summary

Insight Global in Houston seeks a Senior Stress Analyst to lead structural analysis of carbon fiber and metallic aerospace structures. You will own stress analysis activities, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with design and manufacturing to deliver robust structural solutions.

The role requires advanced FEA expertise (FEMAP/NASTRAN), experience with carbon fiber composites, and Creo CAD. Strong scripting for analysis and a track record of leading small teams are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
10+ years of relevant structural/stress analysis experience.
Advanced expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Experience analyzing composite structures: carbon fiber parts, carbon fiber tubes, bonded joints, sandwich panels.
Experience leading a small engineering team or mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Own stress analysis activities for carbon fiber and metallic aerospace structures.
Present engineering solutions to design and manufacturing teams.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Support development and manufacturing of structural products.
