EliseAI in New York City is seeking a Senior Strategy Manager, Government Affairs to build EliseAI's government affairs and public policy function from the ground up.

You will define what government affairs means at EliseAI, build relationships with housing authorities and regulators, and translate legislation into a durable strategic advantage.

This 0→1 role sits at the intersection of housing, technology, and policy, with in‑person work at our NYC headquarters 4–5 days a week.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in government affairs, public policy, or regulatory strategy at a high-growth tech startup or top-tier consultancy.
• Strong command of housing and technology policy, including AI/data privacy or LIHTC/Section 8 familiarity is a plus.
• Established relationships with housing authorities, agencies, regulators, or ability to build them quickly.

Responsibilities

• Stand up EliseAI's government affairs and public policy strategy from 0→1.
• Build and manage relationships with housing authorities, regulators, and other public-sector stakeholders.
• Monitor and translate legislative/regulatory developments into internal guidance and strategic decisions.
• Shape policy and represent EliseAI with policymakers and coalitions; draft position papers and testimony.
• Advise product, legal, and leadership on regulatory risk and opportunity; integrate policy into strategy.
• Represent EliseAI in industry associations and coalitions; build the company’s voice in housing/tech policy.
• Collaborate with GTM to unlock government and affordable-housing opportunities.
