Job Description
Position summary: You are a driven, self-motivated, and hungry to learn individual, who is looking to build a career in digital advertising. As a Strategy Analyst, you will be a crucial support to the sales team.
You will perform deep-dive analysis into customer, seller, product and campaign data. You will have the opportunity to work with and influence multiple departments including Sales, Customer Success, Commercial Leadership, Marketing and Finance through the use of data.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Salesforce with Sojern’s architecture and guidelines; follow Sojern sales processes, products, pricing, and cross-functional operations to increase sales and productivity.
- Develop internal relationships, set recurring meetings and proactively communicate with stakeholders such as Sales Account Executives & Leadership, Customer Success Managers (CSMs), Finance, Product Managers, and Marketing to provide insight & leadership through data.
- Prepare and analyze sales forecasts; collect and analyze data to evaluate current sales achievement.
- Maintain existing sales Tableau dashboards and proactively drive ad hoc reporting aimed at process optimization and sales growth.
- Analyze sales and account data; identify trends and performance and proactively make recommendations regarding strategic sales initiatives.
- Create and innovate on tools, processes, and procedures, specifically including but not limited to: Salesforce, Existing queries (Big Query) and Tableau to support and strengthen the sales organization.
- Support finance in planning and analysis activities, QAing data discrepancies, decision making, budget distribution, and tracking.
- Help build prospecting and proposal presentations via gathering relevant slides, researching information to be included and/or providing input, analysis and support of presentations.
- Evaluate third-party solutions for appropriate Commercial Strategy functions as needed.
- Possess a masterful understanding of Sojern data, products/solutions and team functions and is able to interact effectively with Sojern’s systems (BigQuery, Tableau & Salesforce.)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or related experience (preferred in business, marketing, or a related field)
- 4+ years operations or analytics experience
- 2+ years of Tableau experience and related data visualization systems
- 2+ years of Salesforce experience with respect to activity tracking and reporting
- 2+ years of SQL experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, data filters/sorts
- Knowledge of basic statistical analysis, functional understanding of advanced modeling techniques and programming languages (e.g. Python) is a plus
- Self-motivated, willing to learn new technologies and able to work independently & cross-functionally
- Goal-oriented, passionate, high-energy professional with a “no excuses” attitude
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be comfortable and competent in communications to veteran sales representatives and executives
