This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of an office [Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Milford, or Mountain View], you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.

The Role

General Motors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager for Solutions Enablement to join our Marketing Applied Sciences team. This role focuses on engineering data and analytics products to make data assets available effectively for large-scale problems such as experimentation, audience selection, and activation, while driving strategic alignment across marketing workstreams.

This position combines technical engineering management with strategic product development, requiring both people leadership skills and deep technical expertise in data-driven marketing solutions. You will work at the intersection of technology and marketing strategy, managing data and BI engineering teams and product owners, and partnering with brand strategists to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The role also supports global marketing teams in adopting US-based solutions into their respective markets.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the technical direction of critical marketing platforms and to build and lead engineering teams that deliver measurable business impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage engineering teams within our audience activation & experimentation platforms, overseeing operations, resource allocation, and project prioritization for marketing data and analytics products.
  • Oversee the creation and enhancement of data assets and products that enable marketing solutions, ensuring data assets are accessible for large-scale problems like experimentation and audience selection.
  • Partner with brand strategists to align technical capabilities with business objectives and translate marketing requirements into technical initiatives.
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams to implement US-based solutions internationally.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance, driving innovation and continuous improvement in data engineering practices.
  • Drive technical roadmap planning and execution for solutions enablement initiatives.
  • Lead PI (Program Increment) planning and agile ceremonies, coordinating with product management and stakeholders on feature delivery and strategy.
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Build, lead, and retain high-performing engineering teams through mentoring, career development, and talent acquisition.
