Job summary

Wacker Neuson seeks a Sr Strategic Sourcing Analyst to independently lead procurement activities for assigned commodities, including New Product Development and Current Product parts. You will develop regional category strategies, drive supplier selection, and manage negotiations to optimize cost and supply continuity across markets.

You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Project Management to ensure timely delivery and alignment with global category strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related business program is required.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement/sourcing experience in manufacturing; 7+ years preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and understanding planning/execution.
• Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking skills.
• Demonstrated results through negotiation.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (global).

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities for all parts within assigned category and suppliers for new and existing parts.
• Develop regional category strategy and support global strategy with regional insights.
• Analyze purchase volumes to drive supplier consolidation and cost reduction.
• Lead negotiations and execution of MLPA, NDA, QAA and SOW where applicable.
• Quote management for piece price, tooling costs, and price changes.
• Benchmark regional current products for landed cost optimization and NPD parts tooling quotes.
• Manage price updates and supplier onboarding/offboarding.
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor sourcing staff.
