Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Senior Software Program Manager to shape and drive strategic software initiatives across our software organization, including PLUS+1, our industry-leading platform for machine control and application development.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and business leaders to deliver cross-functional programs with measurable business impact, while building alignment and strong stakeholder management. Hybrid work with Neumünster as preferred location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading large, complex, cross-functional programs or projects in software or technology.
• Solid understanding of software development practices and delivery methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions across functions and levels.
• Excellent planning, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading organizational change or transformation initiatives is a plus.
• Experience building or leading teams of project managers and/or product owners.
• PMP, PgMP, Agile, or similar project management certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic software programs across multiple teams and business areas.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate priorities into program roadmaps and execution plans.
• Build alignment across engineering, product, and business teams with clear communication.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and organizational challenges and drive mitigation plans.
• Develop and mentor a community of software project managers and product owners.
