Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Senior Scheduler to lead the Integrated Master Schedule for MILSATCOM Systems Engineering in El Segundo. You will coordinate with IPTs, contractors, and government partners to ensure milestones are met in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.

10+ years in program scheduling, DoD experience preferred, and proficiency with MS Project, Full Monte and Milestones Professional are essential. A DoD Secret clearance or eligibility is required to operate on SSC programs.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• 10+ years of program scheduling experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Full Monte, and Milestones Professional.
• Knowledge of DCMA 32 guidelines and scheduling best practices.
• Strong background in schedule integration, critical path management, and risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), consolidating inputs from multiple teams and subcontractors.
• Analyze program health, maintain critical path schedules, and produce summary-level one-pagers.
• Lead monthly schedule reviews and customer briefings for executive and government stakeholders.
• Deliver IMS and documentation through the IPMR process (DI-MGMT-81661).
• Conduct schedule risk assessments (SRA) and integrate subcontractor schedules.

CLEARANCE: Secret

Join the Astrion MILSATCOM Systems Engineering team and play a critical role in defining the next generation of secure space communication systems for the U.S. Space Force. This position supports Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) activities for the Space Systems Command (SSC), delivering protected, survivable global communications to the nation’s warfighters.

In this role, you will manage and integrate program schedules across space and ground systems, ensuring program milestones are achieved on time. You will collaborate closely with IPTs, contractors, government partners, and senior leadership in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
