Job summary

Highmark Inc. is seeking a leader to implement, execute, and maintain a comprehensive Compliance Program across enterprise risk areas.

The role ensures policies align with federal and state laws, oversees investigations, audits, training, and regulatory reporting, and partners with Risk Operations to drive governance and risk mitigation. The successful candidate will bring deep HIPAA/privacy knowledge, strong integrity, and the ability to coordinate with regulators, legal, and senior executives

Qualifications

• 5 years in compliance, privacy, government affairs, healthcare operations, risk, audit, or legal functions
• 3 years in a leadership or management role
• 7 years in compliance, privacy, government affairs, healthcare operations, risk, audit, or legal functions
• 3 years experience in Healthcare Compliance or Privacy

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive guidance to senior management on risks, requirements, mitigation strategies, and governance.
• Participate in risk committees and prepare reports for senior management and Board of Directors.
• Respond to reports of non-compliance and coordinate with legal and investigations units for timely action.
• Liaise with regulators and enforceable bodies per defined protocols.
• Ensure education/training initiatives are completed and prioritized across entities.
