Scale's Generative AI business unit is currently experiencing historic growth. As a Strategic Projects Lead (SPL), you will spearhead initiatives that are projected to generate over $XXM+ in new revenue. This demanding role requires versatility across all operational dimensions. The ideal SPL should possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with detailed work, and enthusiasm for impactful tasks that accelerate career growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Owning high-impact customer pipelines, making decisions that influence data quality, operational efficiency, revenue, and margins
• Understanding customer requirements and designing data taxonomy to enhance model performance
• Building pipeline infrastructure to ensure quality and efficiency
• Training, coaching, and managing global teams
• Developing analytics for data-driven decision making
• Collaborating with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams to advance large language models
• Providing regular updates to Scale's executive team

Ideal candidates will have:

• A strong technical background, preferably in engineering or computer science, with proficiency in SQL or Python for data analytics
• Over 5 years of experience in product development, operational processes, or as a Software Engineer
• At least 2 years of team leadership experience
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in operational challenges, with the ability to develop creative solutions
• An entrepreneurial mindset, excited about building from scratch and quick execution

Note: Compensation includes base salary, equity, and benefits. The salary range for locations such as San Francisco, New York, and Seattle is $168,000 — $210,000 USD. Specifics will be discussed during hiring.
